Jamie Kitzman
Overview
Dr. Jamie Kitzman is a Pediatric Anesthesiologist at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Arthur M Blank Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center and active Liver/Kidney/Heart transplant center. She is the Medical Director of the Preoperative Clinic and a member of the inpatient Pain Service. She is a board certified in Medical Acupuncture and Co-director of the Acupuncture Clinic at the Center for Advanced Pediatrics. She is an active member of the Society for Pediatric Pain Medicine (SPPM), and American Society of Anesthesiologist (ASA). Her research interests include non-pharmacologic management of perioperative symptoms, including anxiety and pain, and prevention of adolescent substance use disorders. Her previous roles include PALS instructor, Emory anesthesiology resident POD mentor, and Pediatric anesthesiology fellowship recruitment committee member.
