Overview

Dr. Kim is a member of the Division of Interventional Radiology and Image-Guided Procedures. His clinical interests include pain and palliative procedures; cryoablation of bone/soft tissue tumors of the lung, kidneys, and liver; pre-operative tumor embolization; vertebral augmentation/ablation; locoregional therapies including Ytrrium-90 radioembolization and chemoembolization; embolization of the prostate and uterine arteries; and deep venous thrombosis (DVT) and central venous stenosis recanalization. He additionally is involved in angiography simulator training and ultrasound-guided procedures training for residents and fellows.

Dr. Kim completed fellowships in interventional radiology and musculoskeletal imaging at Emory after completing diagnostic radiology residency at Rochester Regional Health in New York. He completed a surgery internship at Columbia University at Harlem Hospital in New York.
