Jarred Kaiser
Overview
Our research focuses on advancing non-surgical preservation of the knee joint following injury to prevent the development of pain associated with osteoarthritis. Our current interests lie at the heart of regenerative rehabilitation answering how we can best combine injectable regenerative medicines, such as stromal cells, with exercise therapy. We take a reverse translation approach by identifying populations where conventional approaches at treating joint disorders have limited success, then use preclinical models to identify potential underlying causes and advance novel therapies. In this way, we are aligned with the Orthopaedic Research Societys goal of achieving a world without musculoskeletal limitations.
