Profile

Jennifer Felger PhD

  • Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences
    Associate Professor
  • (404) 727-3987

Head shot of Jennifer Felger

Academic Appointment

  • Associate Professor, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Emory University School of Medicine

Education

Degrees

  • Masters in Clinical Research from Emory University
  • PhD from Emory University
  • BS from University of Florida

Research

Focus

  • My research interests are on the impact of inflammatory cytokines on the brain and behavior, in relationship to neuropsychiatric illnesses including depression and fatigue. My work combines both basic and clinical approaches to understanding mechanisms of cytokine effects on neurotransmitter systems in the brain to identify novel therapeutic strategies.
