Jie Ding
Overview
Jie Ding, PhD, DABR, is an assistant professor and medical physicist in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Ding's research interests include medical imaging, treatment planning and the integration of machine learning techniques into clinical applications for both diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy, particularly for breast cancer.
Dr. Ding earned her PhD in biomedical engineering at Stony Brook University. She completed her medical physics certificate at the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed her medical physics residency at University of Maryland Medical Center. She has twice earned the Magna Cum Laude Award from the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine. Dr. Ding currently serves as an Associate Editor for Medical Physics and regularly reviews for several journals in medical physics and cancer imaging.
