Research

Focus

  • We study the neurology of depression with a focus on brain imaging. Current work emphasizes characterization of depression subtypes towards development of imaging algorithms that optimize treatment selection for individual patients. Predictive biomarker studies are complemented by testing, surgical refinement and mechanism studies of deep brain stimulation for treatment resistant patients.
