Haydn Kissick
- Department of Urology
Assistant Professor
Overview
Dr. Haydn Kissick received his PhD degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Western Australia (2011). He worked as a Senior Research Associate in the Departments of Urology as well as Microbiology and Immunology at Emory University School of Medicine (2016). He has significant training as a postdoctoral fellow as he focused on developing vaccines for prostate cancer using high throughput methods to identify novel epitopes. His research interests focus on tumor immunology, with special emphasis in prostate and genitourinary immunology. He will be working as faculty principal investigator, with focus on basic, translational, preclinical, and clinically correlative aspects of tumor immunology, immunotherapy and high-throughput genomic and epigenetic analyses pertaining to (but not limited to) prostate cancer and other genitourinary malignancies.
