Research
Focus
- Neonates who require long-term parenteral nutrition are at a markedly increased risk of cholestasis and end stage liver disease, yet the underlying mechanisms are largely unknown. My research is focused on delineating the molecular mechanisms that interfere with normal bile flow in both an animal model and in infants with intestinal failure associated cholestasis.
