Research

Focus

  • My research is aimed at understanding the entry of enveloped viruses into cells with a primary focus on HIV-1 and other retroviruses. My goal is to delineate the molecular mechanisms by which diverse viruses fuse their envelope to a cell membrane and to identify cellular factors required for virus entry.
