Ezequiel Gleichgerrcht MD, PhD
Overview
Dr. Gleichgerrcht is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at Emory University. He is board-certified in Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology with a strong clinical interest in drug-resistant epilepsies, including invasive EEG monitoring as well as surgical and other non-pharmacological treatments.
As a clinician-scientist, his research focuses on integrating neuroimaging and neurophysiology to study brain function and neurological disorders. Dr. Gleichgerrcht's main research lines seek to identify personalized biomarkers to characterize clinical phenotypes in epilepsy, post-stroke aphasia, and accelerated brain aging. His goal is to uncover new ways to more accurately diagnose and characterize different aspects of brain diseases and to reliably predict treatment outcomes.
