Erin Connolly
Overview
Erin Connolly, PhD, is a bioinformatics instructor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. Prior to joining Emory in 2025, Dr. Connolly was a graduate research assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia.
A computational biologist, Dr. Connolly's research focuses on understanding immune effector cell dynamics and sex differences in the contexts of aging, cancer, and therapeutic interventions. Her work leverages single-cell genomics and bioinformatics to uncover mechanisms of immune dysfunction, guiding the development of targeted immunotherapies to improve outcomes for diverse patient populations.
Dr. Connolly earned her PhD in Bioinformatics from Georgia Institute of Technology, where she was an NIH T32 ImmunoEngineering Fellow.
