Dheepa Sekar
Overview
Dr. Sekar is a clinician educator in Division of General Internal Medicine. She completed her residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine at the University Texas Southwestern and then a master's degree and fellowship in medical education at the University of Pittsburgh. She currently practices at Grady Memorial Hospital, where she provides direct care at the Primary Care Center and supervises residents and students in the primary care clinic and inpatient settings. Her educational interests are centered around improving education in the primary care clinic and improving direct observation and feedback. Her clinical scholarly interest is in improving clinical and intervisit care in our underserved populations.
