David Paine
Overview
David Paine, MD, joined the Ophthalmology Section of the VA Medical Center in 2011. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and specializes in cornea, refractive, external disease, and cataract surgery.
Dr. Paine has a special interest in teaching Emory University ophthalmology residents cataract surgery, as well as the medical and surgical management of corneal disease.
He is skilled in modern techniques of corneal transplantation as well as routine and complex cataract surgery.
National Recognition/Memberships
Dr. Paine is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Cornea Society, and the American Medical Association.
