Dina Amin
Overview
Dr. Amin's specialized expertise as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon is found in her advanced knowledge of treatment for craniomaxillofacial trauma combined with her skill at performing microvascular reconstructive surgery. Her primary clinical site is the oral and maxillofacial surgery service at Grady Memorial Hospital, where she is the director of the OMS outpatient clinic.
Dr. Amin received her DDS and completed her oral and maxillofacial surgery residency in Saudi Arabia. Her training included a strong emphasis on trauma, and she worked as a maxillofacial trauma surgeon in a Saudi Arabian Level I trauma center. In 2013, Dr. Amin joined the University of Alabama at Birmingham as a fellow in craniomaxillofacial surgery and obstructive sleep apnea, followed by a second fellowship at UAB in oral cancer microvascular reconstruction.
