Cynthia Romero
Overview
Cynthia Romero, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine and an Emergency Medicine physician for Emory Healthcare. She joined the Emory University School of Medicine and Section of Prehospital and Disaster Medicine faculty in 2019. Dr. Romero completed her undergraduate studies at Lehigh University, where she majored in both Supply Chain Management and Marketing. She worked in business consulting for a few years before receiving her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She then completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and subsequently completed her fellowship in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Romero is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, a member of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine, and a member of the National Association of Emergency Medical Services Physicians.
