Overview
Matt Hawkins is a board-certified interventional radiologist and associate professor at the Emory University School of Medicine within the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences. Dr. Hawkins is the director of pediatric interventional radiology, and specializes in the treatment of vascular malformations, pediatric hepatobiliary interventions, and venous thromboembolic disease. He also serves as Medical Director of both the Telemedicine Program and the Vascular Anomalies Clinic at Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta. After earning his MD from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, Dr. Hawkins completed diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Cincinnati, followed by fellowship training in pediatric radiology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and a fellowship in vascular interventional radiology at Seattle Children's Hospital, University of Washington Medical Center.
