Research

Focus

  • Research is focused on the pre-clinical development of cancer immunotherapy strategies for recipients of bone marrow transplantation. The goal is reduction of the detrimental graft- versushost disease (GvHD) activity of donor T-cells, while retaining beneficial graft-versus-leukemia (GvL), anti-viral, and graft facilitating aspects. One area of particular interest is modification of the donor dendritic cell content in the graft to modulate GvHD and GvL activities.
