Research
Focus
- My primary research interest is the study of the psychobiology of trauma and stress across the lifespan. In addition to the complications of trauma-related psychopathology (post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, personality disorders, and substance abuse), individuals exposed to trauma during early life also often are carry a heavy burden of stress-related medical illness including obesity, diabetes mellitus, and cardiovascular disease.
