Research
Focus
- The research focuses on mechanisms and modulation of motor cortex reorganization in the intact and the injured brain. The overall goal of the research is to design new and innovative rehabilitation strategies that are based on these previously identified mechanisms to enhance motor function in patients post- stroke. In collaboration with investigators from Yerkes Primate Center the mechanistic component will be expanded. In addition, in collaboration with investigators from the Depts.
