Barath Badrinathan
Overview
Dr. Barath Badrinathan graduated with honors at the University of Illinois Chicago in the dual degree program, earning a BS in Biology and a BA in Psychology. After receiving his MD degree at UIC in 2012, he completed his general surgery residency followed by his vascular surgery fellowship at Emory University. Prior to joining Emory in 2021, he was an attending surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
His clinical interests are focused on peripheral arterial disease, carotid disease, aortic aneurysms, dialysis access, thoracic outlet syndrome, and venous insufficiency. His articles have been published in a number of leading journals, including Annals of Vascular Surgery, Arthroplasty Today, and Stroke. Emory Decatur Hospital and Emory Hillendale Hospital are his primary clinical locations.
