Academic Appointment

  • Master Clinician, Emory University School of Medicine
  • Professor of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Emory University School of Medicine

Education

Degrees

  • MD from Emory University School of Medicine

Research

Focus

  • My research has focused on preventing the clinical progression of heart failure. Major focus in the past decade has been on the use of daily monitoring principles and technology to optimize hemodynamic status of patients with heart failure. This work has included 1) use of pacemaker technology to improve cardiac function 2) use of technology to remotely monitor patients 3) implementation of lifestyle interventions. 4) development of heart failure registry.
