Overview

Anita Sethna, MD, FACS is double board-certified in Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery since 2010. She is also an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine where she has taught since 2011.

Dr. Sethna achieves her patients vision for his or her best outward self by combining her passion for artistry with her desire for technical perfection. She thrives on the challenges of facial plastic surgery and applies a meticulous attention to detail that ensures an optimal outcome. Whether creating a beautiful yet functional nose for a healthy patient or restoring normalcy of appearance for a paralysis or cancer patient, Dr. Sethna focuses on maintaining a natural look while maximizing the aesthetic result for all her patients. Dr. Sethna knows that her patients want to both feel good on the inside and look good on the outside, and she enjoys being part of that.

Dr. Sethna is the recipient of the AOA Research Award, and she is an accomplished expert in her primary areas of interest, rhinoplasty and injectables. She has published book chapters on the topics of rhinology and rhytidectomy, and reviewed manuscripts for the Aesthetic Surgery Journal and the Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery. She has presented at several national conferences, including the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology. In addition to Emory, Dr. Sethna is affiliated with Grady Memorial Hospital, Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston, and the Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
