Anita Deshpande
Overview
Dr. Anita S. Deshpande began attending the Emory University School of Medicine in 2011, receiving her MD degree in 2015 and completing her otolaryngology residency in 2020. Upon the completion of her fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in 2022, she joined the Emory faculty with a dual appointment in the Department of Otolaryngology and the Department of Pediatrics.
Her primary practice location is Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, and her clinical specialties include airway reconstruction, pediatric voice disorders, reconstructive voice surgery, stroboscopy in children, and analysis of dynamic voice computed tomography. Her research interests are concentrated in the areas of simulation and quality improvement, particularly improving perioperative efficiency for multidisciplinary procedures.
