Head shot of Asheebo Rojas

Overview

Dr. Asheebo Rojas is an instructor in the lab of Dr. Andrew Escayg, Professor of Human Genetics. Dr. Rojas's research is directly relevant to the generation of epilepsy (epileptogenesis) and the neuropathologies associated with seizures.

His research focuses on the understanding of the Role of GADD45a signaling pathways in seizures, status epilepticus and epilepsy. My current research focuses on understanding GADD45a signaling and epigenetic modification of downstream targets following seizures.
