Head shot of Anna Kenney

Academic Appointment

  • Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Emory University

Education

Degrees

  • PhD from Yale University
  • BA from St. Mary’s College of Maryland

Research

Focus

  • We investigate the mechanisms through which mitogenic signaling pathways in the developing brain can, through aberrant activity, contribute to the transformation of pediatric brain tumor cells-of-origin. Our goal is to identify signaling networks that could be targeted by small molecule inhibitors, to improve patient survival and quality of life.
