Anant Mandawat

Anant Mandawat, MD, serves as the Director of Cardio-Oncology at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, and holds joint appointments as Associate Professor in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology and in the Division of Cardiology of the Department of Internal Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine.
A cardio-oncologist, Dr. Mandawat specializes in the early detection, prevention, and treatment of cardiac diseases in patients with cancer. He uses cutting-edge techniques, such as myocardial strain imaging, to detect cardiac disease early and prevent complications that may result before, during, or after cancer treatment.
