Adam Klein MD
Overview
Dr. Klein joined the Emory Voice Center in July of 2005 and is its current director. He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery. He then pursued a fellowship in laryngology and care of the professional voice at the Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Laryngeal Surgery and Voice Restoration, at Harvard University. He is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, the American Broncho-Esophagological Association, the Triological Society and the American Laryngological Association. Dr. Klein's clinical specialties include the treatment of laryngeal disorders and the professional voice. His research interests include vocal cord reanimation, laryngeal papillomatosis and designing a surgical trainer for phonomicrosurgery (voice surgery). He has over 50 peer-reviewed publications and is an invited speaker nationally and internationally.

Focus
- Improving vocal diagnoses and outcomes via integration of advancements in the biomedical and biotechnological sciences. Currently focusing on the issues of vocal fold paralysis and vocal fold reanimation, and the development of a phonomicrosurgical trainer.
