Overview

Dr. Jenkins is a tenured Associate Professor and Division Chief for Anesthesiology Research.

He has received numerous awards and fellowships, and serves on NIH study sections and the Editorial Boards of PLosOne and Molecular Pharmacology. He is a member of the Deans Faculty Development Advisory Committee and is an active teacher in Emorys graduate schools. A recognized leader in ion channel pharmacology, his work focuses on the molecular mechanisms of anesthesia and sleepiness.
