Overview
Amber Davis, PA-C is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Emory University's Physician Assistant Program, where she is the course director for the Psychiatry, Nephrology/Genitourinary and Obstetrics and Gynecology modules. In addition to these courses she lectures about many subjects across multiple body systems, including otolaryngology, endocrinology, preventive health, physical exam and radiology.
After graduating Emory University's PA program in 2016 she has practiced clinically in General Internal Medicine at Emory University Hospital Midtown, where she treats a variety of acute and chronic complaints, as well as counsels patients and provides preventive care. Precepting clinical year PA students in her clinic combines her passion for education and patient-centered care.
Amber is also a small-group Society leader, where she helps students apply didactic concepts to real-life situations and develop clinical skills. She finds joy in small-group learning, as well as participating in Emory PA program's community outreach, where she guides students through complex patient encounters that bring didactic concepts to life.
