Amy Miller
Overview
Amy Miller graduated from Morehouse School of Medicine in 2006. She continued her post-graduate training at the J Willis Hurst Internal Medicine Residency Program at Emory University. Upon completion of this program and board certification in 2009 she joined the Emory faculty as an Academic Hospitalist at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She continues to work at this site as both a clinician educator on the inpatient resident teaching service and hospitalist on the direct care teams.
Dr. Millers primary area of interest is in Transitions of Care, she currently serves as Co-chair of the Transitions of Care Committee. She also participates in residency and faculty development. In this capacity she is a Core Faculty member for the residency program and member of the Faculty Development Committee. She was the recipient of two hospital medicine faculty development grants both of which contributed to her personal and professional growth. Her active societal memberships include the Society of Hospital Medicine.
