As COVID-19 has evolved, many behavioral health professionals within Emory’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences along with other departments (Rehabilitation Medicine, Pediatrics) have come to appreciate how the mental health aspects of this devastating virus have permeated all aspects of life. A group of faculty, staff and trainees within different areas have come together to offer support, compassion, education and guidance to the community in response to this pandemic.
Our goal is to provide direct services, support and useful tips, but also respond to the needs of different populations who are all trying to adjust in varied ways. We are continuing to update tips for different populations and provide the services that people are requesting.
It is our hope that by sharing these wellness tips and continuing to provide support to all who are dealing with this pandemic, that we will help people cope as effectively as they can and be as resilient as possible.
