Lei Zhu
Overview
Dr. Lei Zhu received his PhD in cell biology and his MS in molecular biology from the Department of Life Science at Jilin University, China. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Winship Cancer Institute in 2018, based in Dr. Lily Yang's Nanomedicine Research Lab. Prior to his fellowship, he was an associate professor at Xiamen University in China, and served as principal investigator on projects that focused on protein chemistry in relation to cancer detection and therapy. His current research in Dr. Yang's lab is concentrating on highly translational projects related to pancreatic cancer and breast cancer theranostics with nanotechnology.
