Overview
Dr. Siegelman joined the Emory University School of Medicine faculty in 2011. He received his MD at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his emergency medicine residency at the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency in Boston. Dr. Siegelman is a member of Council of Emergency Medicine Residency Directors, Society for Academic Emergency Medicin, and American College of Emergency Physicians. His research interests include simulation, ophthalmologic emergencies, resident assessment, and curricular innovations.

Ophthalmologic Emergencies; Resident Assessment
My clinical research interest is in improving the care of patients with ophthalmologic emergencies. Currently I am part of an NIH-funded study using a non-mydriatic fundus camera to predict future stroke risk in TIA patients. I am also developing milestone assessment tools in simulation as part of a national effort.
