Overview
Dr. Aaron Lay received his MD degree from Washington University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and did his endourology and minimally invasive surgery fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Lay directs the Endourology and Kidney Stone Program at Grady Memorial Hospital. His clinical interests also include shock wave lithotripsy, ureteroscopy with laser lithotripsy, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, robotic surgery, and Holmium Laser Enucleation of Prostate, or HoLEP, a state-of-the-art procedure for treating massive benign prostatic enlargement.
