Amid doctor shortages, a loan forgiveness program aims to keep care local

The School of Medicine offers the Kathelen and Dan Amos Medical Student Loan Forgiveness Program to support current students, recent graduates and residents who plan to practice primary care in Georgia. Janhavi Dubhashi, who graduates this month, is an Amos Scholar who plans to practice medicine in Georgia.
