Your Specialty:
Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI), a subspecialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology
How did you choose your specialty?
By shadowing physicians in the field during medical school
What do you like MOST, and like LEAST, about your specialty?
- Most: I appreciate having the ability to help people complete their families. Bringing desired life into the word could not be more rewarding. REI is a field in which physicians have an opportunity to form very close personal bonds with patients and can have a positive impact the rest of their lives.
- Least: I genuinely love my job as it is an excellent balance of clinical care and surgery. The hardest part is sharing the disappointment with patients that are not successful in conceiving.
In your opinion, what attributes are important in anyone choosing this specialty?

- Attention to detail
- Surgical coordination
- Logical systematic thinking
Hobbies/special interests:
- Running
- Traveling
- Spending time with my husband and 2 children
