COURSE DESCRIPTION
The 2021 Emory Sports Medicine Symposium is high level multi-disciplinary conference targeted to physical therapists, athletic trainers, primary care providers, sports medicine providers, researchers, and allied sports-health specialists. Presenting faculty include national and international experts in sports medicine with Emory Sports Medicine faculty who are team physicians for the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Dream, Gwinnett Stripers, Georgia Tech, Emory University and many area high schools and programs. The program also incorporates rehabilitation specialists, athletic trainers, and researchers from Emory Sports Performance and Research Center (SPARC). Individual practitioners and healthcare teams will learn practical strategies for improved interventions, optimal patient care and outcomes.
