For Prospective Learners

The Office of Multicultural Affairs provides programs to support the development and matriculation of diverse learners, which include medical students, health professions students, residents and fellows, and K-12 students interested in health professions.


Emory Pipeline Collaborative

A three-year federally funded mentorship program to prepare high school students from disadvantaged backgrounds for entry into health professions.

Summer Science Academy

A program designed to heighten 9th and 10th grade students’ interest in science, introduce careers in healthcare, and reinforce fundamental principles of science.

Emory Pre-Medical Readiness Engagement Program

EmPREP is a series of learning resources, tips, and tools that provide insights to undergraduate students (and the faculty/staff members who support and advise these students), on the many stages of the medical school admissions process.

Health Professions Readiness Education

An eight-week residential program for underrepresented undergraduate and graduate students interested in applying to medical school.

Emory Revisited

A weekend event during which underrepresented minority students accepted to the School of Medicine return to campus to meet with faculty and students and learn more about us and DEI efforts.
