Cecile Lahiri, MD, MSc, and Gaea Daniel, PhD, RN, were announced as honorees of the Emory CFAR Community Liaison Council's 7th Annual Barbara Vick Impact Awards (#Barbies2024).  Honorees are being recognized for their respective impact in the community through their advocacy, work, and/or research.

Special Announcement Igho Ofotokun Selected to Receive Prestigious Award from NFID

The National Foundation for Infectious Disease has selected Dr. Igho Ofotokun to receive their 2024 Maxwell Finland Award for Scientific Achievement. Dr. Ofotokun is being recognized for his career achievements and contributions in addressing "systemic inequities" within the realms of research, promotion of women's health, and mentorship.  Dr. Ofotokun will receive his prestigious award at the 2024 NFID Awards Gala this Fall.

We have a number of active NIH-funded clinical research studies, contributing to the increased knowledge and translation of science in the realms of HIV, women's health, sex and gender differences, COVID, and more.

Mentorship

RHYTHM faculty are advocates and dedicated to the educational and experiential development of researchers in the realm of HIV, women's health and sex and gender differences, curating opportunities for exposure and growth into independence.

Collaboration

RHYTHM Investigators work in collaboration with Investigators internal and external to Emory, locally and globally.
