Translating research from the theoretical to the tangible is the focus of the podcast “Impact in Progress,” which just launched its second season.

The academic summer program offers high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to take non-credit courses with faculty. A separate pre-health program will be offered this year in addition to the typical wide range of courses.

Emory University has been designated the “Stalking Horse Bidder” by a federal bankruptcy court to purchase the assets of Emory Proton Therapy Center — following recent legal filings by the center’s owner, Georgia ProtonCare Center, Inc.
