Support of general and disease-specific research will help “seed” new ideas, providing start-up funds to develop novel approaches to complex medical problems and bridge funding in a time of shrinking federal research dollars.

Discovery endowment: $2 million

Endowed graduate research fellowship: $300,000

Endowed lectureship: $250,000

Endowed disease-specific research fund: $200,000 – $1 million

Term fellowship: $30,000 per year / 3 years+

Department program support: $50,000

Seed research fund: $10,000+
