Former resident Nourhan Ismaeel joins our faculty

Nourhan ("Noura") Ismaeel, MD, has joined the faculty of the Emory Department of Urology after completing her urology residency at Emory in 2022. She received her MD degree at the University of Texas at Houston Medical School in 2017.
Dr. Ismaeel specializes in general urology, particularly endourologic surgery for kidney stone disease and renal malignancies and the deployment of minimally invasive techniques for benign prostatic hyperplasia. Her primary practice locations are Emory Johns Creek Hospital and Grady Memorial Hospital.
She is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society, as well as the American Urological Association and the Society of Women in Urology. Her articles have been published in a number of leading journals, including Journal of Clinical Oncology, Journal of Urologic Oncology, and Sexual Medicine Reviews.
