Assistant Professor
Dr. Shiradkar is an assistant professor in the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University. He is a member of the Discovery and Developmental Therapeutics Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute.
His research focuses on developing machine learning and artificial intelligence methods in conjunction with quantitative and conventional MRI for image-based diagnosis and prognosis of prostate cancer. He has constructed multi-scale approaches integrating MRI, quantitative MR (MR fingerprinting) and histopathology using AI for developing efficient, non-invasive screening methods for patients with prostate cancer.
Dr. Shiradkar earned his PhD in electrical and computer engineering at the National University of Singapore and completed postdoctoral research training at Case Western Reserve University.
