Mendy Lebowitz is a graduate student working on cardiovascular event risk prediction for chronic kidney disease patients using retinal image scans. His interests span diagnostic and interventional radiology, radiomics and deep learning to develop diagnostic/prognostic radiologic tools.
He previously spent three years working with the Social Cognition Lab at University of Miami.
Mendy earned his undergraduate degree in neuroscience from University of Miami. He currently is working toward an MD from Emory University School of Medicine and an PhD in biomedical engineering from the Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering of Emory and Georgia Tech. He also completed rabbinical ordination at the Rabbinical College of America.
