Hisham Abdeltawab works at the intersection of deep learning, machine learning, medical imaging and computational pathology. He currently is developing predictive and prognostic models for prostate cancer biochemical recurrence using 2D and 3D prostate pathology data. He previously has worked on data structures and algorithm design.
After earning both his undergraduate and master's degrees in biomedical engineering at Cairo University, in Cairo, Egypt, he earned his PhD in bioengineering at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.
