Saumya Diwan is a graduate student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering of Emory and Georgia Tech. His interests and areas of expertise include biomedical imaging and informatics, artificial intelligence-based clinical decision support systems, data-driven decision-making, machine learning and deep learning. He is particularly adept at multidisciplinary collaborations.
Prior to joining the Madabhushi Lab, Saumya worked as a junior research fellow at the Center for Advanced Research and Excellence in Disability and Assistive Technology (CARE-DAT) and at MedImg Lab at the Center for Biomedical Engineering (CBME), Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi under a joint research collaboration with All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, India.
He also previously worked as a research intern at the Soft Computing Lab, Division of Applied Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
Saumya graduated from Delhi Technological University (DTU) with a BTech degree in mechanical engineering.
