At the Madabhushi Lab, we're developing, evaluating, and applying novel quantitative imaging analysis, computer vision, signal processing, segmentation, multi-modal co-registration tools, pattern recognition, and machine learning tools for disease diagnosis, prognosis, and theragnostics. Our group also is exploring the utility of these methods for studying correlations of disease markers across multiple scales, modalities, and functionalities – from gene and protein expression to spectroscopy to digital pathology and radiological imaging.
Our group is pioneering artificial intelligence (AI) decision support tools to aid clinicians in treating patients suffering from cancers (including, but not limited to lung, prostate, brain, breast, cervical, ovarian, endometrial, colon, head and neck, and kidney), as well as non-oncologic cardiovascular, renal, ophthalmologic and respiratory diseases.
