Nadja Kadom, MD
Dr. Nadja Kadom is Emory Radiology's interim medical director of quality for Emory Healthcare and an associate professor of radiology and imaging sciences. She also is the director of pediatric neuroradiology, director of pediatric neuroradiology research at Egleston, and director of radiology quality at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. She completed additional training in the areas of quality and performance improvement and comparative cost-effectiveness analysis. Her scholarly QI/PI projects include adding patient-centered language to radiology reports and facilitating decision supports through disease-specific algorithms. Dr. Kadom has created a QI curriculum for radiology residents at Boston Medical Center, which was adopted by the residency program at Emory as well as the neuroradiology fellowship program at Emory. She is currently the chair of the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) Life-Long Learning Sub-Committee on Performance Improvement. In addition, she also serves as the chair for the safety section of the American Board of Radiology (ABR) Non-Interpretive Skills Committee.
Courtney Moreno, MD
Dr. Courtney Moreno is the director of the Division of Abdominal Imaging as well as the medical director of ultrasound. She additionally is focused on standardizing workflows and image acquisition protocols to optimize excellence in patient care and to optimize staff practice.
LaTasha Paige, MS, BSN
LaTasha Paige is the Program Director for Imaging Services Quality and Patient Safety. She collaborates with Emory Radiology team members on quality, safety, and process improvement projects. Ms. Paige first joined Emory Healthcare in 2019 as a management engineer for Winship Cancer Institute, where she was responsible for helping teams improve their day-to-day workflow and improve the patient experience. She brings with her experience as an industrial engineer for Baptist Health in Montgomery, Alabama, and more than a decade working in manufacturing. Ms. Paige has been in the Alabama National Guard since 2010, and currently is the Company Commander for the 1207/1208th Quartermaster Company in Fort McClellan, Alabama. Ms. Paige earned an MS degree in industrial and systems engineering from Auburn University and a BS in nursing from the University of Alabama. She also is a Certified Quality Engineer and Six Sigma Black Belt.
Colin Segovis, MD
Dr. Colin Segovis is the Director of MRI Quality and Safety for the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences and a diagnostic radiologist with a focus on neuroradiology. Dr. Segovis is certified by the American Board of Magnetic Residency Safety as Magnetic Resonance Medical Director (MRMD). In his role as Director of MRI Quality and Safety, Dr. Segovis overseas the MRI program of Emory Radiology. His efforts are focused on patient safety in the MRI environment and applying Lean Management methodology to the operations of MRI. Dr. Segovis is also activate in national medical imaging coding and nomenclature efforts and serves as the AMA CPT advisor for the American Society of Neuroradiology.
Matt Zygmont, MD
Dr. Matt Zygmont is a diagnostic radiologist with fellowship training in neuroradiology, and is a member of the clinical faculty in the Division of Emergency and Trauma Imaging. He co-chairs the Committee for CT Quality and Safety and has research interests in CT dose reduction, workflow optimization, and quality improvement for imaging services at Emory Healthcare and Grady Memorial Hospital. He also is the interim chief of radiology service for Grady Memorial Hospital.
Trainees
Domnique Newallo, MD, RT(R)(CT)
Dr. Domnique Newallo has been involved in quality efforts throughout her residency training at Emory. After completing the three-year Nuclear Medicine Residency program and serving as Chief Resident, she matched into the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program and is completing the first of four years. Dr. Newallo is active in numerous professional associations. She served as secretary and treasurer of the Nuclear Medicine Resident Organization of the American College of Nuclear Medicine.
Pratik Rachh, MD, MBA
Dr. Pratik Rachh has more than ten years of experience with continuous quality improvement. From 2014 to 2021, he served as the department's Quality Programs Manager and was responsible for facilitating team approaches to assessing workflow processes, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities to eliminate waste, and then helping implement solutions to improve efficiency and performance. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt, a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, Certified Process Analyst, and also holds national certification in patient safety. Dr. Rachh currently is completing the Radiology Transitional Year Internship Program before starting diagnostic radiology residency in the Molecular Imaging in Medicine Track at Emory.
