Fellowship Application Eligibility
Applicants must have completed or anticipate completing a diagnostic radiology residency accredited by the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), the American Osteopathic Association (AO), or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC). Exceptionally qualified international graduate applicants may only be considered in special circumstances.
Electronic Residency Application Service and National Resident Matching Program
Our program participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) provided through the Association of American Medical Colleges. ERAS will be used to transmit applications, letters of recommendation, transcripts, and other supporting credentials from applicants. For further information on this process, please view the ERAS website.
Based on ERAS and NRMP guidelines, we only consider applications and application materials submitted through ERAS. Application materials sent via email or direct mail will not be considered.
The following items must be in your ERAS Common Application before your application will be reviewed:
- Personal statement;
- USMLE scores (at minimum, steps 1 and 2 (both CS and CK) and step 3 if completed);
- Current CV, research experience/publications/presentations; and
- Three letters of recommendation (one must be from your program director).

June 5, 2024: ERAS opens for applicants
November 13, 2024: Applicants may submit applications
December 4, 2024: Programs begin reviewing applications
January - March 2025: Applicants will be invited to schedule virtual interviews during this period
May 31, 2025: ERAS season officially closes
This program participates in the NRMP Radiology Fellowship Match and will comply with all specified dates on the NRMP calendar. Rank order is typically due at the end of May and Match Day is in the middle of June. Please check www.nrmp.org for the up-to-date timeline.
Interviews
Interviews will be held virtually on Thursday mornings or afternoons, from January through March. Applicants will have the opportunity to view a virtual introduction, attend a live teaching conference, and meet with faculty and fellows. This will allow applicants to learn about our program, experience our teaching style, and get to know our people and culture.
Candidates will be asked to schedule interviews through Thalamus.
