Interventional Neuroradiology

We offer a two-year fellowship providing comprehensive training in all aspects of interventional neuroradiology, including diagnostic neuroangiography, aneurysm embolization, tumor embolization, AVM treatment, intracranial/cervical angioplasty and stenting, and stroke thrombolysis. There are four faculty members (Drs. Cawley, Tong, Howard, and Grossberg). Approximately 900 diagnostic cerebral angiograms, 250 intraoperative angiograms, and 500 neurovascular interventions are performed annually. There are three fellows from a variety of backgrounds (radiology, neurosurgery, neurology) at any given time.

**Our first opening for our fellowship is 2027.

Facilities at Emory include seven high-field MRI units including DWI, PWI, fMRI and MR spectroscopy; seven CT scanners including CTA and CT perfusion capabilities; and two state-of-the-art biplane neuroangiographic suites.

Qualified applicants should have completed their radiology residency and be board eligible/certified prior to beginning the fellowship.
